On this page, we will keep you informed about all our Lightspeed app updates. We will take a more in-depth look at bug fixes, as well as new features or payment methods that have been added recently.
Fixed bug were any discount (fixed or %) were not taken into count of order amount and were therefore rejected.
Klarna orders are now getting a 'paid' status based on successful 'reserve'. Order is getting 'captured/paid' when order is being shipped by merchant.
All Buckaroo transaction will now have a specific payment_method_id = "buckaroo" within the API communication. All orders placed outside of Buckaroo will now be excluded from the 'Cancel expired period' setting in Lightspeed (lightspeed.buckaroo.io).
PayPerEmail is added as a functionality within Lightspeed. When you create or duplicate an order it automatically send a PayPerEmail to the consumer. After the payment is done the status gets updated.
It is now possible to adjust the front-end label of the payment method(s). This way, you can name a payment method as you wish. When is this useful? For example for AfterPay or a different postpay payment method. In Germany, for example, this is called ‘AfterPay Rechnung’. See image below.
The 'cancel expired period' currently cancels all open orders after the set time. In the old situation this did not trigger a cancellation email to the consumer. This is now fixed so consumers will receive an e-mail when an order is canceled.
All orders from €1000,- or higher resulted in a error. These orders could not be paid. This is now fixed and therefore possible.
